The builder of a large residential apartment complex under construction in Mascot, near Sydney Airport has specified Efflock for over 4000m2 of external tiling around the complex.
Project manager, Joe Metlage of Casumo Constructions enquired about Efflock late last month.
"Like many builders, we've experienced problems with Efflorescence in the past, and we are excited that Efflock will provide cost effective protection on our projects going forward" he said.
Efflock provides permanent protection from efflorescence to external tiling, by simply adding 1% to the water (known as gauging water) before adding to dry ingredients. This dilution should be used for tile beds, tile adhesive and tile grout for complete protection of the tiling system.
