  Hydrophobic sealer for masonry release

  Efflock is about to release it's sister product called "Hydrophobic Sealer for Masonry". This new label will promote Efflock's lesser known function as a premium water repellent sealer for porous masonry. This sealer is a stand alone product, sold as a maximum concentrate that dilutes with water 9 times. This concept is in line with our goal to reduce plastic packaging, reduce transport costs and emissions, whilst providing toolbox convenience and the best economy. 1 litre of "Hydrophobic Sealer for Masonry" makes 10 litres of sealer, equating to around half the cost of existing equivalent sealers.

  Considering paving? - Know about crypto-florescence.

  These granite pavers may look it, but they are not wet. The darkened perimeters are a form of efflorescence called crypto-florescence. Crypto-florescence is when efflorescence is absorbed into the pores of the stone. Because it is within the stone, it cannot be removed with acid cleaners. This defect is also known as 'picture framing'.The source of the efflorescence is from the sand and cement bed beneath the paving that has wicked up between the joints and absorbed into the perimeter of each paver.
