  New Efflock formula

  From 1st July 2013 we are rolling out a new and slightly modified formula. The new Efflock formula is a maximum concentrate, meaning the product now goes twice as far as before! as an additive, the product is now diluted at 1 part Efflock : 100 parts water. That means one litre of Efflock makes 101 litres of gauging water, or enough efflorescence protection for approximately 20 square metres of a 30mm thick tile bed!  The new formula means less transport costs, less plastic packaging and waste, and much better value!   All 3 bases are covered with Efflock

  The genius of Efflock is that it is compatible with all cementitious mixes, including off the shelf tile adhesives and tile grouts.  On a tiled floor, this means that all 3 layers that contribute to efflorescence can be protected - tile bed, tile adhesive and tile grout.  And, it couldn't be easier.   Save building costs with Efflock

      Secondary membranes to control efflorescence are now obsolete and no longer required. Efflock added to concrete mixes such as tile beds and grout bulk impregnates the entire material to make them water repellant . Without water able to freely penetrate these materials, efflorescence cannot occur. The labour and cost savings are a big advantage, and bad weather is less of a worry with construction times.
